Terms of Service sections
Marketplace nature
Rufkey is a peer-to-peer platform that connects sellers and buyers of real estate. We are not a party to any transaction between users and do not act as a broker, agent, or escrow service. All transactions are conducted directly between users at their own discretion.
User eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into binding contracts to list, buy, or transact through Rufkey. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information and for all activity under your account.
Listings and conduct
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for complying with all applicable disclosure laws. Buyers are responsible for performing their own due diligence. Rufkey reserves the right to remove any listing or content that is misleading, unlawful, or otherwise harmful to the community.
Privacy
Your use of Rufkey is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the marketplace you acknowledge that you have reviewed and consented to the practices described there.
Limitation of liability
Rufkey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rufkey is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the marketplace or from interactions with other users.
Business directory disclaimer
Rufkey hosts paid business directories for attorneys, insurers, inspectors, contractors, and surveyors. Inclusion in a directory does not constitute an endorsement, referral, or recommendation by Rufkey, and placement order or visibility may be influenced by the listing terms purchased by a business. Rufkey does not verify the quality, licensing, insurance, or conduct of any listed business, and credentials shown in a listing are self-reported by the business rather than confirmed by Rufkey. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rufkey does not warrant the quality, timeliness, legality, or outcome of any service provided by a listed business, and disclaims all liability for any losses, damages, costs, or injuries arising from your engagement with a listed business. Any engagement with a listed business is a direct contract between you and that business; your sole recourse for any dispute with a business is against that business directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of Rufkey after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
